Helicopter Fire Fighting

In the event of a fire, Aero-Heli can work with fire fighters & emergency services to help extinguish the blaze or ensure the fire does not continue to spread. Utilising an aviation specified Bambi Bucket the helicopter can rapidly collect water from a nearby source (such as small lakes) and drown the fire in upto 1,000 litres of water per bucket release. Our highly experienced pilots and ground control crew have fought against the largest fires thoughout Ireland over the last 3 years, from precision water drops to fire prevention techniques, Aero-Heli could help save lives.

Having our helicopter(s) on scene has also proven a significant advantage for fire fighters to view the extremity of the situation and review tactics to flight the blaze, or even to transport personnel out to remote locations to fight the fire.
